Portland Sustainability Jam - now canceled until the next round.
We have canceled the local Portland event due to low attendance. We will enter the Global Jam next time with renewed vigor and more industry partners. Thanks for your interest!
Join fellow designers, parents, students, teachers and other interested and interesting folks as we join the Global Sustainability Jam!
Global Jam: Friday, October 28 at 5:00 pm through Sunday, October 30 at 5:00 pm local times.

Why Should You Participate?
As a participant in the Global Sustainability Jam, you'll be jamming
for 48 hours on a concrete idea. You'll move through the whole
development process in one weekend. And you won't just be talking about design or sustainability, you will be working with others on developing ideas, designs and initiatives which could become real.
- Whether you are experienced or completely new to the field, you will learn more about a design-based approach to creativity and about sustainability.
- You will pick up a load of new ideas and work practices.
- You will meet a lot of cool people at all levels of experience.
- Your work and ideas will be reviewed by your peers, and presented to the world, where they can be seen by potential customers or employers, or by people who could make them real.
- You will create something that might make a real difference.
- You might get rich and famous.
- You will certainly have a blast.

Lunch provided each day, and snacks/soft drinks are provided as well. Beer and Wine are available at reasonable prices (only when a licensed server is on site; sun must be over the yard arm.)
A minimum of 8 paid participants must register for the event to occur. If this does not happen by October 26, the event will be canceled and ALL collected monies will be returned. Anyone who signed up will still receive free admission to the ComedySportz Shows on October 28 and 29.
ComedySportz-Portland is a For-Profit Company, but the Portland Sustainability Jam will be run as a not-for-profit event.
